Running Through the Weeds

I’m always talking about cats and peacocks and chickens. The horses and the goat don’t get mentioned very often. Well, right now it’s hard to get a picture of them, the weeds in the pasture are 3 feet high.

I don’t have a key to the tractor. John’s been busy with other things. He sometimes waits until the weeds have gone to seed before he cuts them. Which is why there’s a bumper crop.

The horses are doing fine, though, and the weeds have given the wild ducks a place to nest. I’m not sure what keeps the horses from eating the eggs. Horses like eggs.

Dusty heard the camera click. Here he comes!

Blue Top’s out there somewhere. I think.
